God of War release date 2008

Ready at Dawn, the developer behind the much loved God of War series, has announced that its

highly anticipated PSP epic, God of War: Chains of Olympus, will be released in 2008.The game,

the series' first on the anticipated PSP, will chart the history of Kratos before the events that

take place in the first God of War.As he travels around Ancient Greece, players will discover the

awful events that took place after the death of his family and led him to mount a challenge

against the Gods of Olympus.Rumours are currently circulating that a downloadable demo of the

game will be released in Europe and the US later this year.While Ready at Dawn has set a

tentative March 8th 2008 release date for the North American version of Chains of Olympus,

the European date is still marked down as "early 2008".As the release date draws closer, it is

also likely that Ready at Dawn will release further details on God of War 3, the next installment

of the game, which is being developed for PS3.
